Patchwork starts as offcuts. The squares left over from other runs get cut and joined by hand in small Kathmandu workshops, panel by panel, until they turn into a jacket, a pair of pants or a set of dungarees. The colour mix depends on whatever came off the cutting table that week, so no two pieces share a layout.
