Solid brick red, stonewashed so the colour sits deeper in the seams than across the panels, then block-printed in black with roses, rosettes and paisley. The print runs over the bib, the hips and down to the ankle.
Cotton, dropped crotch, gathered elastic cuffs at the ankle. Two side pockets and a buttoned bib pocket. The red is closer to rust than to scarlet in daylight.

Our makers
Stonewashed and stamped by hand in Kathmandu. Red is the hardest colour to hold through a stonewash, so some pairs come out closer to terracotta and some closer to oxblood. Expect a little colour in the first wash.
