Handmade in Nepal, each piece is one of a kind, and small variations between batches are part of the charm.
Handwoven gheri cotton in fine vertical stripes of red, pink, burgundy and rust, with narrow cream and mustard diamond bands woven through the stripe. A pointed hood, a short placket that closes with three wooden toggles, a front pouch pocket, and a hem of twisted tassel fringe that dips to a point at each side. The red comes out of a hand dye bath, so it sits closer to rust in some lights and closer to wine in others.
One size, cut wide and long enough to pull straight over a jumper. Cotton, so it takes the chill off a morning without the weight of wool.

Our makers weave gheri from whatever thread is on the loom that week, so a colourway runs until the material does. Red is the hardest colour to hold through a wash, so expect a little colour release the first time.
